Few astrophotographs created in 2018.
As it so often does in Finland, the year started and ended under a thick cloud cover - the first photograph featured here wasn't taken until late February, and the last Geminid photograph in mid-December had to be created in hurry due to the closing cloud cover.
Highlight of the year was the Lunar Eclipse with International Space Station passing-by, a result of meticulous planning in the weeks preceding the event. Memorable were also the Aurora sessions in March at below -20 Celsius temperature, the unusually hot nights spent by observing NLCs and the mid-August Perseids sessions all around Päijänne Tavastia in search of clear skies.
